Simon Woolf , M. Photog., has a natural affinity for people and all our clients love being photographed by him. He lectures widely and has acquired numerous qualifications throughout his illustrious career. Simon has exhibited his works widely (in solo and group exhibitions), and has judged many competitions locally and internationally.
He has been awarded Masters qualifications both here in New Zealand, and in the USA. He was also awarded Associateship qualifications in Australia and Great Britain, and is an Honourary Member of The Australian Accredited Professional Photographers Association. Simon was awarded the prestigious James White Scholarship in 2004, as well as a Queens New Zealand Honour in 1990 for services to the community.
Simon Woolf was a Wellington City Councillor from 2014-2022 and is currently a Greater Wellington Regional Councillor.

He enjoys and participates in many areas of Photography. Simon has exhibited, lectured and judged in New Zealand and internationally. He has gained mainly photographic accolades during his career. Simon achieved the first Fellowship of The Photography Society of NZ with a Digital Camera submission in 2001.
Simon has also given back to Photography Administration, serving on a number of boards, trusts and councils. He has served in many other governance roles on the wider community.
Simon's Photography Workshops and Experiences are sought after by both New Zealanders and international visitors. They not only involve the serious side, as Simon is well know for incorporating the fun aspects, often at his own expense, and in a self effacing manner.
He enjoys being a part of his community, has Life Memberships of Diabetes NZ, Family Planning NZ, and The Wellington Photographic Society. He is also the proud Patron of multiple National Champion, Wellington Brass Band. Simon has spent a decade in Local Government as an Elected Member, and is actively involved in Football, as Coach and Elite Level Referee.
